Introducing Anthony Soulsby
Anthony Soulsby is the Managing Director of Byrone, bringing more than 25 years of experience delivering major international sporting events and complex global projects.Throughout his career, Anthony has successfully contributed to the planning and delivery of some of the world's most prestigious events, including three Summer Olympic Games, two Winter Olympic Games, and multiple Youth Olympic Festivals.
His leadership roles include directing digital operations for COP28 – the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai, the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.Anthony has worked closely with a wide range of international stakeholders, including the United Nations, FIFA, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), National Olympic Committees, National Sport Federations, major sponsors, and global suppliers.
His expertise lies in the operational delivery of large-scale events and programs. He has a proven ability to lead cross-functional and international teams, manage complex stakeholder environments, and successfully plan and execute the technology and operational requirements of major events on the world stage.
